Website Visitors

Like most website operators, WCPFC “www.wilsonpfc.org” collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The main purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how WCPFC’s visitors use its website. From time to time, WCPFC may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

We also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on our blogs. WCPFC commonly discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to WCPFC website choose to interact with us in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that WCPFC gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, if we ask visitors who filled out any form for a program subscription on our website to provide phone number and email address. Those who wish to receive WCPFC updates via email, we collect their emails. In each case, WCPFC collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with our website. WCPFC does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Cognito Forms

WCPFC uses Cognito Forms in certain programs where the user fills out the information required for that specific program. For example, if you are interested in the enrollment of your child in the NC Pre-K Program we will use Cognito Forms to collect the information requested by the law of North Carolina to get enrolled in the NC Pre-K Program. You can find more information about Cognito Forms Privacy Policies in here.
